Head Office and Nagasaki Works Obtain JIS Q 9100 Certification (Quality Management System Specifically for the Aerospace and Defense Industry)

We are pleased to announce that our Head Office and Nagasaki Works have acquired JIS Q 9100 certification, the quality management system specifically designed for the aerospace and defense industry.
JIS Q 9100 is based on the requirements of ISO 9001 with additional requirements specific to the aerospace and defense industry, and has been established as a global standard for quality management in the aerospace and defense industry along with AS9100 in the United States and EN9100 in Europe. Aircraft and engine manufacturers around the world require certification of those quality management systems as a global standard for parts procurement. Once certified, the supplier is registered and published in the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) worldwide database, provided with opportunities to business with manufacturers in the aerospace and defense industry worldwide.
Aiming to enter the aerospace and defense industry, we have started activities to obtain certification since February 2023, and have now achieved.
We will continue to enhance our technological capabilities and establish high quality to meet the needs of our customers in the aerospace and defense industry, where higher quality and reliability than ever before is required.
