ALMAX®

ALMAX® treatment is the surface modification method that diffuses aluminum (Al) into a metal surface to form an aluminum nitride layer (Fe-Al-N layer) with high Al concentration.

This Fe-Al-N layer has the characteristic of high anti exfoliate even to cycled rapid heating and cooling.

Furthermore, this Fe-Al-N layer is selectively oxidized and the coating film of Al2O3 is formed on the outermost surface at a high temperature atmosphere, and this coating film has the excellent effect to free from seizure and galling of bolts and nuts.
