ALPLEX® treatment is the more sophisticated surface modification method than Calorizing treatment, which further improved corrosion resistance and abrasion (erosion) resistance by forming a ceramics layer in the matrix phase of Calorizing layer.

The surface hardness of ALPLEX® treatment is higher than Calorizing treatment.
Therefore, under very harsh conditions, we strongly recommend to use ALPLEX®.
