Vanadizing treatment is the surface modification method that diffuses vanadium (V) into a surface of carbon steel, etc., and forms a vanadium carbide layer.
This treatment has the characteristics of excellent abrasion (erosion) resistance, without layer faults, such as pinholes, and so it has the excellent resistance to molten aluminum erosion/ corrosion.
